<p>PURPOSE:To fix fluorine from a fluorine-contg. org. compd. as fluoride and to very satisfactorily treat the org. compd. by regulating the concn. of oxygen in a reaction system in which the fluorine-contg. org. compd. is brought into a reaction. CONSTITUTION:When a fluorine-contg. org. compd. such as a perfluoro compd. or fluororesin is treated, oxygen-contg. gas is fed so as to obtain >=10vol.% concn. of oxygen in a reaction system in which the fluorine-contg. org. compd. is brought into a reaction. Most of gas generated by the reaction can be converted into carbonyl fluoride and this fluoride can simply be fixed as a compd. by hydrolysis or a reaction with alkali. The fluorine-contg. org. compd. can be safely treated without generating noxious gas.</p> |
