<p>PURPOSE:To display an operating environment suitable for each user by displaying a part among those menu items corresponding to a previously prepared total process as a partial display and providing an instruction item to the partial menu to urge the display of a total menu. CONSTITUTION:An information processor is provided with a display device 201, an input device 202, a main storage device 203, a CPU 204, and an external storage device 205. Also the processor is provided with a menu initialization method to set the initial state of a menu, a menu display state control method which controls the display states of a partial menu and a hierarchical menu, a partial menu item editing method, a hierarchical menu item editing method, and a menu attribute data control method. Thus a user himself/herself can change the menu items to be displayed as a partial menu or a submenu. Then a menu matching with a desired operating environment of a user can be displayed.</p> |
