Compounds of the formula I <CHEM> wherein X = H,H or O; R=(CH2)nNR1R2, n=2,3; R1 and R2 = C1-C4 alkyl or heterocycle ring when taken together with the nitrogen atom, aminosugar, <IMAGE> means single or double bond and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts are useful as anti-hypertensive agents. The preparation and use as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing them are also described.
