The vane cell vacuum pump is for servo drives in vehicles in which the outlet channel is a kidney shaped hole positioned in a part of the pump face wall covered by the rotor face wall. The hole (18) is joined to the pump interior by means of a recess in the pump wall which extends from the mouth of the hole to the region not covered by the rotor wall. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pump in which the outlet opening is sufficiently large to allow oil and air to be expelled without undue pressure build-up.
