PURPOSE:To perform both a space filter process and an image shift arithmetic process at a high speed by shifting a shift image based on a table stored previously in a table storage part. CONSTITUTION:An address generating part 12 which changes an address by a single picture element based on a shift table read out of a storage part 11, an imageprocessing part 13 which inputs an original image to produce a shift image equivalent to the original image and performs an inter-picture element arithmetic operation against the original image while shifting the shift image for each picture element based on the address received from the part 12 are provided. Then the generation of addresses is changed in an image shift arithmetic process based on the table stored previously. In such a constitution, the images can be processed at a high speed and furthermore a shift image is obtained for space filter process according to the setting ways of a table, as a result, space filter process is carried out at the same speed. |
