PURPOSE:To manufacture a hollow channel with rib of superior appearance securely and easily by compression fusion bonding a front wall and a rear wall in their peripheral edge sections, forming a recessed rib facing the front wall on a part of the rear wall, also forming a weld section fused with the front wall in the ring shape on the top section of said recessed rib and forming a hollow section surrounded by said weld section. CONSTITUTION:A parison 17 is disposed between open dividing type molds 10 and 11 and the lower end of the parison 17 is sealed with a clamping component 17, and clamping is carried out in a manner that the parison 17 is positioned outside pinch-off sections 19 of the molds 10 and 11. The parison 17 is so blow-molded preliminarily as to match with the shape of a recessed section 14 of a cavity 12 of one mold 10 by means of its internal pressure, and the same is brought into contact with a cavity 13 of the other mold 11 to complete clamping and then the parison 17 is compression fusion bonded by the pinch-off sections 19 of the molds, and fusion bonding a rib 4 molded on the recessed section 14 of the cavity 12 with a facing wall in the ring shape is carried out by increasing the internal pressure of the parison 17 to form a weld section 6 and mold the parison 17 into the final finished shape. |
