A welding cord for welding homogeneous plastic sheeting or boards, such as floor coverings, contains, as thermoplastic binder, predominantly an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), if desired with admixed EPDM and polypropylene and/or polyethylene. The vinyl acetate content in the overall batch is from 10 to 20% by weight, and the proportion of assistants and fillers is from 1 to 30% by weight. |
