<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability and the assembling workability of an X-Y direction input device by exposing partly a rotary operator and a slide operator through an operation hole drilled through a cover in an operable way and actuating a switch with the oscillating rotation of a guide member. CONSTITUTION:A slide operator 58 and a rotary operator 64 are held between a cover 70 and a guide member 24 which are connected to each other via a snap. The operators 58 and 64 are slid and rotated via an operation hole 71 drilled through a cover 70. Thus a cursor 8 is moved optionally on a screen 6. At the same time, a guide member 24 has the oscillating rotations to give the pressing force to both operators 58 and 64 or the cover 70. Thus a switch 13 is turned on via the member 24 or the operator 58, the cover 70, etc. Then the cursor 8 position is inputted and a menu corresponding to the cursor posi tion, for example, is displayed on a screen. As a result, the operability and the assembling workability are improved for an X-Y direction input device.</p> |
