PURPOSE:To obtain the image quality equiv. to the image quality of an initial image even after continuous copying by using the member for imparting triboelectric charge having a specific arom. fluorine compd. on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The member for imparting triboelectric charge is used to impart or supplementally imparting the charge for development by coming into contact with a toner. This member has the arom. fluorine compd. selected from the group consisting of formulas I to III on the surface. In the formula I, Rf denotes CnF2n+1, OCnF2n+1; n denotes a positive integer; R1, R2 denote H, Cl, Br, COOH group, NH2 group, CONH2 group, CONH(CH2)2CH3 group, NHCOCH3 group, CN group, NO2 group.
