PURPOSE:To produce a T-shaped pipe joint that is good in the sealing property and would not be broken, by opening a joint main body for a branch pipe connecting section, and bonding to this branch pipe connecting section a rubber ring holding lid to which a rubber ring and a branch pipe connecting pipe have been previously fitted. CONSTITUTION:A pipe that has been heated to be softened is blow molded into the T-shaped pipe main body, and part of the main body is opened to form the branch pipe connecting section 5. The rubber ring holding lid 3 to which the water stopping rubber ring 2 and the branch pipe connecting pipe 4 have been previously fitted is bonded to this branch pipe connecting section 5. Since, in the resulting T-shaped pipe joint, the diameter of the branch connecting pipe can be increased approximately to that of the straight pipe section, and irregular bending force exerted on the branch pipe can be absorbed by the rubber ring, the pipe joint would not be broken, and its manufacture is simple. |
