<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent having higher adsorbing performance on carbon dioxide than conventional carbon dioxide adsorbents, and to improve the efficiency of a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus by using the adsorbent having high adsorbing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide adsorbent for adsorbing and separating carbon dioxide from a gas containing the carbon dioxide has its carrier made of mesoporous silica and has at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Y and La supported by the carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
