<p>PURPOSE:To improve self-priming faculty of a radial pump in a simple structure by providing an impeller on a periphery or on an inner circumference of a member on rotational side in the members that show pumping faculty at the time of relative rotation, and by introducing a fluid energized by the impeller to a pump suction port. CONSTITUTION:In an inner circumference of a housing 1 that is a first member, a torque ring 2 that is a second member is fitted so as to slide and rotate through a first static pressure bearing 3. On a phase position where a bore 3a of the static pressure bearing 3 on the periphery of a circumferential wall 2a of the torque ring 2 is not provided, an impeller 5 is projected perpendicular to the circumferential wall 2a. The projected edge of the impeller 5 is fitted to a groove 1c formed on the inner circumference of a cornical part 1b of the housing 1, whereby a fluid flowing space X is formed. To the cornical part 1b of the housing 1, a pipe 7 is connected, while a space on the side of fluid discharge B is connected to a suction port 8 of a pump main body.</p> |
