The present invention relates to a device for forming a mat for use principally in entrance halls, having a dirt- collecting unit 2 and a dirt-wiping unit 1, the dirt- collecting unit 2 having the form of a cavity in which the dirt-wiping unit 1 fits and from which the dirt- wiping unit 1 can be wholly or partially removed or swung up in order to remove dirt collected therein, the dirt- wiping unit 1 comprising an anchoring part 6 for anchoring a number of dirt-wiping elements 7 in such a way that dirt on at least the bottom side of a shoe, a boot or the like can be wiped off by means of the same. <IMAGE> |
