The stepping motor includes a magnetic stator circuit made of soft ferromagnetic material, with a coil (3). The magnetic circuit provides two parallel branches accommodating two rotors (1, 2) linked to different drive trains (11, 12). The positioning torques acting on the two rotors are different, allowing them to be controlled selectively by applying different pulses to the coil. The magnetic circuit is nevertheless provided by a single piece common to both rotors. ADVANTAGE - Single motor provides independent control of different aspects of watch mechanism.
