<p>The present invention provides a weatherable protective surfacing film which can be laminated to various substrates, such as vinyl outdoor fabrics, by heat and pressure without requiring adhesives. The film has a unitary structure and is comprised of an acrylic polymer/fluoropolymer composition which has a composition gradient across its thickness such that one surface of the film is fluoropolymer-rich to provide excellent weatherability, stain resistance and dirt repellant properties, while the opposite surface of the film is acrylic polymer-rich to give it self-bonding characteristics.</p> |
