PURPOSE:To freely and easily form a fillet surface intended by a designer by inputting the respective different rediuses to both ends of a shared boundary between two curved surface patches having the shared boundary connected under the condition that the positions are continued. CONSTITUTION:On a first and a second curved surface patches S1, S2, a first and a second sides E1s, E2s are cut by a first and a second intersections P1s, P2s corresponding to a first radius Rs designated with regard to a first nodal point Ps, and also, between its intersections, a first bridge curve Rs based on a first radius Rs is generated. Also, between a first and a third intersections P1s, P1e, and between a second and a fourth intersections P2s, P2e, a first and a second curves K1, K2 are generated, respectively so that a patch shown by a vector function is extended in a space surrounded by a first and a second bridge curves Rs, Re, and a first and a second curves K1, K2. In such a way, a fillet surface intended by a designer can be formed freely. |
