A b s t r a c t : (referring to fig. 1) 1. Process and apparatus for changing the relative position of packs, especially of cuboidal cigarette packs of the hinge-lid type. 2.1. Prior art processes and apparatuses work with forces having shock-like impacts on the packs, so that there is a risk of the packs getting damaged. The invention shall guarantee gentle changes of the relative position. 2.2. For this reason, the packs are turned by way of being pulled by conveying means running at different velocities and being arranged at two opposite regions of the packs. 2.3. Conveying cigarette packs.
