Shop counter with glass superstructure - has alternating locking device only allowing opening of one panel at a time

The shop counter has a glass superstructure and two glass panels which adjoin each other in the corner by a separating line. Each panel can swivel from a closed position about a horizontal axis into an opening position so that the two glass panels collide with simultaneous opening. An alternating locking device (W) is provided for the two panels (10a,10b) whereby during movement of one panel into the opening position the other panel is lockable in the closed position and vice versa. The alternating locking device can be operated automatically by each one of the two panels. USE/ADVANTAGE - Damage to the edges of the panels which could occur with simultaneous opening are now avoided.
