Cushion for garden chair - consists of layers of padding between textile sheets sewn together around their edges

The method is for making a cushion for use with a garden chair. The cushion consists of a middle layer (10) of padding which is placed between two layers (11,12) of polyester wadding which are enclosed between layers of textile (8,9). These layers are placed on a press table (6) and compressed by a pressure plate (5) which is actuated by hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders (3,4). Whilst the materials are held in compression the edge of the textile outer layers (8,9) are sewn together by a stitching device (2). USE - Cushion for garden chairs.
