PURPOSE:To markedly reduce vibration transmitted to a support and enable to tune extremely easily, by a method wherein a vibrating body mount member is supported by connecting it to a support at a zero point of vibration. CONSTITUTION:Mass members 14, 14' are fitted respectively to both ends of the mount member 10 consisting of a shape steel having a reverse-U cross sectional shape, and concentric circular insulators 12, 12' are so fixed that the centers of outer cylinders 15, 15' thereof are located at points on the inside of two nodes of a two-node transverse vibration mode of the mount member 10 in a condition of being supported with both ends free. Inner cylinders 17, 17' of the insulators 12, 12' which cylinders are located at central positions of the insulators through elastic rubbers 16, 16' are fixed to groove form brackets 18, 18' fixed to vehicle body brackets 13, 13', respectively. An insulator 11 for supporting a transmission extension part 1 constituting the vibrating body is connected by a bolt 19 to the mount member 10, only at a point substantially on the line in the running direction of the vehicle. |
