In one embodiment, a double extensible slide includes two similar assemblies 10 each comprises an outer element 12 for securing to a cabinet wall, an intermediate element 14, and an inner element 16 carrying an angle member 60 supporting a plate 52 on which the drawer or the like is mounted. One end of the inner element 16 had convergent surfaces 80 which, when the slide is retracted, engage correspondingly convergent surfaces defined by the flat ends of bolts 84 fixed in a block 82 secured to the rear end of the outer element 12. Further convergent surfaces 74, 76 on wedging blocks 68, 70 mounted on the front end of the inner member 16 engage mating surfaces 26, 28 on the front end of the outer member 12 in the closed position of the slide. Stop pins 44, 46 limit extension of the slide. In other embodiments no intermediate element 14 is provided. |
