PURPOSE:To make optical coupling parts function as the optical coupling parts having high reliability under a high temperature and high humidity by sealing up a suction and exhaust port so that an optical fiber and the inner wall of the aperture hole of an elastic member and the wall surface of the aperture part of a hollow housing and one part of the wall surface of the elastic member are made to closely contact each other. CONSTITUTION:The elastic member 22 having the aperture hole 23 where the optical fiber 11 is passed through is provided to the aperture part 18 of the hollow housing 14 where a lens, a filter or the like are enclosed. By giving pressure to the elastic member 22 from the outside and changing the shape thereof, the optical fiber 11 and the inner wall of the aperture hole 23 of the elastic member 22 and the wall surface of the aperture part 18 of the hollow housing 14 and one part of the wall surface of the elastic member 22 are respectively made to closely contact each other. Simultaneously, the suction and exhaust port 26 of the hollow housing 14 is sealed up. Therefore, the hollow housing 14 becomes almost a sealed up state. Thus, an adhesive which fixes the lens, the filter or the like does not swell even under the high temperature and the high humidity and the excellent optical coupling parts with the high reliability are obtained. |
