PURPOSE:To contrive a good dewatering of garbage by installing a draining roller, which is pushed against a draining drum and allowed to rotate in contact with it, at a point certainly below the top of the draining drum. CONSTITUTION:Casings 10, 12 are equipped with a charge port 6 connected to a drain hole 2 of a sink 1 at the upper part and a grinding part 12d furnished with a grinding cutter 18 rotated by a motor 15 at the bottom part of the charge port 6. A drain casing 31, which is connected to the casings 10, 12 through a transport part 27a including a water trap 27b in its middle part, equipped with a drain port 34 for connecting to a drain hose 33, which communicates with a sewer pipe etc., and another discharge part 32 different from the drain port 34 respectively at the bottom part. Inside this drain casing 31, a draining drum 37, which is rotated by a motor 53 and furnished with two or more draining holes, is installed. Furthermore, a draining roller 40, which is pushed against the draining drum 37 and allowed to rotate in contact with it, is arranged at a position certainly lower than the top of the draining drum 37. A dewatering condition of the garbage is improved as a result. |
