Fastening mechanism for an accessory for a circular handsaw (6) comprising a rotating cutter (8), a handle (7) and a supporting plate (9), the cutter extending somewhat below the supporting plate, said accessory comprising a frame (1), two parallel tracks (2, 3) attached to the frame and a slide (4) movable between the tracks and in the direction of the tracks, to which slide the handsaw (6) can be attached by its supporting plate (9), said fastening mechanism comprising quick-grip fastening elements (13, 14) arranged on the slide (4) for fastening the supporting plate (9) of the handsaw (6) to the slide, said quick-grip fastening elements consisting of one or more essentially fixed protruding parts (13) provided at one end of the slide (4), under which protrusions the corresponding end of the supporting plate (9) is pushed when the saw is to be fastened. The invention is so implemented that the quick-grip fastening means at the opposite end of the slide (4) comprise a spring-loaded holding element (14) provided with a pull end (11) for manual operation, said holding element locking the corresponding end of the supporting plate (9) in place under it. |
