A bath-tub has its sides covered with panels. An inspection hole is provided at the lower corner of the end panel. This inspection hole is covered by a small removable panel (1) made of metal. This panel (1) has metal strips (6,7) bonded with adhesive to two adjacent edges. The panel (1) is so shaped that a narrow slot (18, 19) is formed between the free end (17) of each strip (6, 7) and the edge of the panel (1).
