<p>PURPOSE:To easily produce the high-reliability color filter with the decreased elution of ions in a pigment film by using an electrolyte in which the ions of either of cation or anion have the ion radius larger than the ion radius of bromine ions. CONSTITUTION:A method for forming a thin film by using dyestuff particles hardly soluble or insoluble in water, a surfactant which can be at least oxidized by electrolysis and a supporting electrolyte as basic components, preparing an aq. micellar colloid soln. of the dyestuff enclosing the dyestuff particles with the surfactant and breaking the micelle by an electrolytic oxidation to deposit the dyestuff particles on a conductor thereby, forming the dyestuff thin film is used in the production process for the color filter. The supporting electrolyte in this production process is constituted of the electrolyte in which the ions of either of the cation or anion have the ion radius larger than the ion radius of the bromine ions. The color filter which obviates the elution of the ions intruded or adsorbed into the pigment film into a liquid crystal is easily produced by the method of this constitution.</p> |
