<p>PURPOSE:To prevent two sheets of paper from being sent out in superposed state and surely separate the paper by arranging a guide member having a projection part, in the vicinity of a pick-up device. CONSTITUTION:When two sheets of paper 1 in superposed state are attracted by a pick-up device 3, the projecting part 5a of a guide member 5 contacts the upper surface of the paper 1, and a deflection is generated at the bent edge part from the contact part of two sheets of paper. When, in this state, air is blown from a paper separating device 4, air is easily introduced into the gap from the edge part of two sheets of paper 1, and the superposed sheets of paper can be surely separated.</p> |
