PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of a resistance value due to diffusion of impurity elements in a stabilizing material by forming a strong diffusion preventive layer made of oxide containing superconductors forming elements between a compound superconductor and the stabilizing material. CONSTITUTION:For a Nb3Sn superconductive wire, the first diffusion preventive layer 24 made of Nb, the second diffusion preventive layer 25 made of Nb oxide, Sn oxide, Ti oxide, etc., a stabilizing material 26 made of Cu are sequentially formed on the outer periphery of a structure 20, in which core wires 23 with the Nb3Sn layers 22b formed on Nb wires 22a are distribution-buried in a Cu-Sn material 21. The second diffusion preventive layer 25 is formed in such a manner that a Cu oxide thin layer is formed on the surface of the stabilizing material and heat-treated under a non-oxidized atmosphere or under lower oxygen content pressure than the oxygen content pressure in the atmosphere under which the Cu oxide thin layer is formed on the surface of the stabilizing material. |
