PURPOSE:To improve turn performance without deteriorating stability by correcting in accordance with a steering condition a detected car speed being based on it determining steering angle ratio multiplying by it a front wheel steering angle obtaining a rear wheel steering angle steering to it a rear wheel. CONSTITUTION:In accordance with a steering condition detected by a steering condition detecting means, a car speed correction amount is determined by a correction amount determining means, and a car speed, detected by a car speed detecting means, is corrected by a car speed correcting means. A steering angle ratio determining means determines steering angle ratio (rear wheel steering angle/front wheel steering angle) being based on the corrected car speed. Next, a target steering angle determining means multiplies a front wheel steering angle, detected in a front wheel steering angle detecting means, by the determined steering angle ratio determining a rear wheel target steering angle, and a rear wheel is steered by a driving means. Thus improving turn performance without deteriorating stability, a steering condition can be reflected to a rear wheel steering angle only by a simplified control method, further by smoothing a change of the rear wheel steering angle, a steering feeling can be improved. |
