PURPOSE:To obtain the title beverage rich in vitamin B group by adding water to the fruit mush etc., of tamarind followed by percolation through e.g. cold digestion and by adding a small amount of limonene to the resultant filtrate to make tamarind easy to be taken from resistance thereto in terms of taste. CONSTITUTION:>=4 pts.wt. of water is added to 1 pt.wt. of the fruit mush or bean fruit of tamarind followed by percolation through cold or normal digestion or using hot water, and 0.01-0.3wt.% of limonene is then added to the resultant filtrate, thus obtaining the objective beverage. |
