An optical element (38) with its holder device (28) is adjusted relative to the sensor device in radial and/or in axial directions. After that a fixing of the holder (28) to the housing of the target detector takes place. Pref. the fixing takes place by means of laser welding. There may be an intermediate piece adjusted in one of axial or radial direction, the holder being then adjusted in the other of the direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - Sub-munition with target detector. Allows sufficiently accurate adjustment to be made and held.
