PURPOSE: To selectively hold a swivel bracket and a propulsion unit by providing a recess in a transom bracket, which includes a main portion, a running position branch portion and a shallow water drive position branch portion, and providing shoulder means in the main portion. CONSTITUTION: When bent ends 57, 59 of a swivel bracket 27 are disposed below a first stopper 121 of recesses 45, 47 of a transom bracket 25, a bracket 27 and a propulsion unit 12 permit the ends 57, 59 to move upward or downward to the outer end 93 in the shallow water drive position branch portion 91, thereby arranging the unit 12 in the shallow water drive position. A stopper 131 is provided with the recesses 45, 47 suddenly increased in depth, whereby when the ends 57, 59 pass the stopper 131, a return movement is inhibited, and the unit 12 and the bracket 27 are at rest at the outer end 87 in the completely tilting position. By putting the ends 57, 59 in the inlet portion 99, the bracket 27 and the unit 12 are returned to a downward or movement position or the shallow water drive position. |
