<p>PURPOSE: To enable easy crushing of tablets or capsules in any sizes and shapes into predetermined pieces by combining an anvil, a supporting means for rigid small protrusions to divide the downward force to each part of a tablet with a gripping means comprising two flanges capable of sliding in a horizontal reciprocating motion by a crank mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A hammer 40 which closes an opening 24 is taken off, a crank is radially rotated up to the maximum rotation part, a tablet 2 is placed on a small rigid protrusion 15 with a sliding flange 31 full open, the crank 20 is rotated to drive the sliding flange 31 toward the inside radial direction and to fix the tablet 2 on the rigid small protrusions 15 by positioning it at the center. Then, the hammer 40 is positioned over the tablet, and after placing a contact surface 43 on the upper surface facing the tablet on the rigid small protrusions 15, the tablet is crushed.</p> |
