A heat insulating cup for drinks according to the present invention is made by providing a container (3), in which polyethylene (2) is sealed, around the circumferential and bottom portions of a cup body (1), and covering the outer surface of the resultant product with a wooden outer frame (4) and a bottom lid (5). The container (3) in which the polyethylene (2) is sealed is placed in a constant-temperature vessel of about 200 DEG C and heated for about ten minutes. The container (3) is then taken out from the constant-temperature vessel, and the cup body (1) is inserted in the container (3), a drink then being poured into the cup body (1). The heat of solidification of the polyethylene (2) radiated from the container (3) in which polyethylene (2) is sealed is transmitted to the cup body (1) to prevent a decrease of the temperature of the drink, i.e., provide the heat insulating effect. |
