PURPOSE:To improve the drivability by continuously changing a speed ratio change speed by a valve control means between a certain quick acceleration speed change and a slow deceleration speed change and reversely therebetween in a speed ratio change range containing a zero condition. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control device 460, serving as a valve control means, reads a throttle opening, primary and secondary side rotary shaft speeds, car speed and a shift control position from sensors 468, 464, 466, 462, 470, determining a target primary side rotary speed based on this obtaining a control deviation, and a speed change is performed by operating hydraulic cylinders 54, 56 through a hydraulic control circuit. At this time, being based on the control deviation, the valve control means turns a speed change direction selecting solenoid valve 266 on and a flow control solenoid valve 268 off in a quick deceleration speed change, turns the valve 266 on and the valve 268 in a duty ratio control in an intermediate deceleration speed change, turns both the valves on in a slow deceleration speed change, turns the valve 266 in the duty ratio control and the valve 268 on in an intermediate speed change and turns the valve 266 off and the valve 268 on in a quick acceleration speed change. Thus, the drivability can be improved. |
