<p>PURPOSE:To attempt facilitation of connection by constituting a pipe joint with a joint main unit internally fitted to a connection pipe to be connected and formed in a cylindrical shape and also having a guide part and a metal- made tightening member externally fitted to the guide part of the joint main unit and having a tool guide part. CONSTITUTION:A pipe joint comprises a cylindrical joint main unit 10 and a metal-made tightening member 30. The joint main unit 10 provides in its one side part a cylindrical connection part 11 connected to a connection part 20 to be connected and in the other side part a guide part 12 providing in the peripheral direction an annular recessed groove 12b in the peripheral surface. The tightening member 30 is concentrically externally fitted, having a clearance possible to insert a connection pipe 50, to the guide part 12 of the joint main unit 10 and provided with a tool guide part 33 for positioning a work tool in a part corresponding to the recessed groove 12b of the guide part 12. As a result, the connection pipe can be surely fixed even at a high temperature. And any deformation such as causing the leakage of water is not generated in the pipe joint.</p> |
