<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of accommodating for articles, by providing a plurality of introduction devices for reserving articles once thereon, and thereafter delivering them successively onto racks in an accommodating storage, between a conveyer for conveying articles which are grouped by means of a grouping device, and the storage. CONSTITUTION:Racks 2 in plural stages are provided in an accommodating storage 1 which may be elevated one stage by one stage by an elevating means. A conveyer 4 is laid in parallel with the storage 1 on the opening 3 side of the latter, for conveying articles fed from a grouping device (which is not shown) for dividing articles into several groups each having a predetermined number of articles. A shifting device 5 having a plurality of introduction mechanisms 5A-5D each of which reserves thereon articles and shifts them onto the racks 2, is laid between the storage 1 and the conveyer 4. Guide rails are laid on both sides of the conveyer 4 upstream of the grouping device, and therefore, it is possible to prevent articles from dipping off from the conveyer 4 due to that articles make into contact with each other and therefore affect pressing force upon each other.</p> |
