The cassette accommodates the ink-ribbon in a typewriter etc., having a plastic housing contg. wheels or rollers transporting the ribbon mounted in bearings. One bearing is so secured by an integeral part of the housing as to allow it some movement. This part can have a sidewall clear of the housing wall for a predetermined distance.
