PURPOSE:To extend the service life of deodorizing performance and improve its deodorizing efficiency by installing a heater which heats a deodorizing member which destructs oxidatively a deodorizing ingredient by absorbing said deodorizing ingredient by receiving heat and a cover which covers its opposite side. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of some deodorizing substances 15 which are on the opposite side of a defrosting heater 13 are covered with a cover 14 while the bottom and the sides are exposed. When a cooler 6 is heated by the defrosting heater 13, defrosting takes place. At the same time, the deodorizing substances 15 are heated. It is a matter of course that the bottom of the deodorizing substances are directly subject to the radiation heat of the defrosting heater 13. Moreover, some heat radiated from the defrosting heater 13 is irradiated to a reflection side 14b of the cover 14 so that the heat may reflect upon the deodorizing substances 15 on the opposite side 14b, thereby heating the sides. The heated deodorizing substances 15 desorbs the deodorizing ingredient adsorbed on an adsorbent of an adsorbent layer 15a. At the same time, the deodorizing ingredient is subjected to oxidative destruction and eliminated in a catalyzer layer 15b, which makes it possible to extend the service life of deodorizing performance and hence improve its deodorizing efficiency as well. |
