<p>PURPOSE: To achieve an inexpensive method by providing a twisted contact in such a manner as to be brought into rotatable wiping contact with a contact element mounted on a substrate. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector 10 is provided with a base member 11 and means 15 engageable with a twisted contact 13 so as to move the contact 13 in a first twisted orientation or a second not-twisted orientation. The connector 10 is designed such that the contact 13 and a contact element 17 are brought into wiping electric contact with each other. With this arrangement, it is possible to achieve the operation in a simple manner and fabricate an electric connector at a low cost.</p> |
