<p>PURPOSE:To accurately segment a picture in a desired size by designating a frame of a prescribed size on a displayed picture and displaying the designated frame. CONSTITUTION:A form selection screen is displayed when a framing icon (e) is picked by a mouse and the framing is selected. Then a form, e.g., a rectangle is selected and therefore a size input screen is displayed on a window A. When a size is inputted via a keyboard, both vertical and horizontal sizes of the rectangle are inputted. A CPU calculates the position of a frame from the center position and the vertical and horizontal lengths. Based on this calculation result, an input character X is framed and the character X and a frame W displayed by an instruction of the keyboard are printed out by a printer. Thus a picture of a desired size is accurately segmented based on the print output.</p> |
