PURPOSE:To obtain the toner for electrophotography which is excellent in all of offset resistance, preservable property and flowability by specifying the softening point of an incompatible material in a prescribed temp. range, incorporating this material at a ratio of a prescribed weight ratio or below of a styrene copolymer, and confining the max dispersion diameter to a prescribed value or below. CONSTITUTION:The material which is incompatible with the styrene copolymer resin and has >=80 deg.C to <=200 deg.C softening point is incorporated into the toner at >=1pts.wt. and <=10pts.wt. ratio per 100pts.wt. styrene copolymer resin. The max. dispersion diameter of the material in the resin is confined to <=5mum. The styrene copolymer refers to the copolymer of the styrene monomer and other vinyl monomer. The incompatible material is exemplified by low mol. wt. polypropylene, low mol. wt. olefin copolymer, etc. The toner for electrophotography for heating roller fixing having the excellent characteristics, such as flowability and preservable property in addition to the offset resistance is obtd. in this way. |
