PURPOSE:To stably perform the contact between a printing recording head and an ink recording medium by setting the center line mean roughness and max. height of the surface provided with an isolated conductive pattern layer of a heating resistor layer to specific values or less. CONSTITUTION:It is necessary that at least one surface of a base film has center line mean roughness (Ra) of 0.4mum or less, pref., 0.2mum or less and the max. height (Rmax) of 1.6mum or less. Since an isolated conductor pattern is provided on the surface having the above mentioned surface roughness of a heating resistor layer 2 being a base film, fine isolated electrodes 6 are formed to the heating resistor layer 2 so as to follow the surface unevenness of said layer 2 and, therefore, when the conductive protruding part 8 present in the vicinity of the leading end of a printing recording head 7 is brought into contact with the heating resistor layer 2, parts not brought into contact with the fine isolated electrodes are not generated and printing recording can be performed in a stable contact state. As a result of stable contact, it is eliminated that a current collectively flows to the specific isolated electrode and a phenomenon such that a heating layer becomes high temp. locally to be distructed can be avoided. |
