摘要 PURPOSE:To detect the slippage between a metal strip and a bridle device and to minimize the slipping flaw by calculating the peripheral speed by detecting the number of revolutions of a pair of bridle rolls and by deciding whether the differential value of the both is larger than the set value or not. CONSTITUTION:The slippage state is decided when a differential value in bridle rolls 15a, 15b becomes larger than a prescribed set value by processing unit 20 by detecting the number of revolutions of a pair of bridle rolls 15a, 15b of the tension bridle roll device 3, 6, 10 performing the tension control of a metal strip 1a by detectors 18a, 18b and by calculating the peripheral speed by multiplying the diameter of each bridle roll 15a, 15b by the number of revolutions with each slipping state detector 19. The slipping state can be detected therefore by monitoring with detection the variation in the peripheral speed of the bridle roll according to the load variation due to the slippage between the bridle roll and metal strip.
