PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for providing an adhesive layer between the oxygen adsorbing layer and coating layer constituting a cap and to prevent the leakage of the oxygen scavenger in the oxygen adsorbing layer into the content of a sealed container by coating the oxygen adsorbing layer wherein the oxygen scavenger is contained in a thermoplastic resin having a specific range of an oxygen transmission coefficient and a specific of tensile strength with a coating layer composed of the same resin containing no oxygen scavenger. CONSTITUTION:In the cap mounted to the inner surface of a crown sealing a mouth part of a container, a laminated resin sheet is formed by coating an oxygen adsorbing layer composed of a thermoplastic resin respectively containing an oxygen scavenger and an electrolyte in an amount of 5-50wt.% and having an oxygen transmission coefficient (Q) and tensile strength (T) represented by formulae with a coating layer composed of the same thermoplastic resin containing no oxygen scavenger and the electrolyte and having an oxygen scavenging speed (Qv) represented by lower formula and punched in matching relation to the dimension of the crown. When the oxygen transmission coefficient (Q) and the tensile strength T are out of the range, no practical oxygen scavenging effect is obtained and, when the cap is molded, the open air penetrates in the container and the oxygen scavenging effect in the container can not be sufficiently achieved. When Qv is smaller than this value, the oxygen scavenging speed is too small to be practical. |
