<p>An electrophotographic printer having a plurality of separate recording elements (41) arranged in the form of lines and comprising means (31, 32) for producing gradation data for each of the separate recording elements, means (34, 50, 131, 171) which receive gradation data from each of the separate recording elements and give light-emitting pattern signals that are differently weighted for each of the recording elements so that the light intensities of each of the recording elements will become equal in response to light-intensity data of the recording elements, and drive means (42) which drives the separate recording elements in response to said light-emitting pattern signals. The electronic photographic printer corrects the light-intensity characteristics for each of the recording elements and carries out correct gradation recording.</p> |
