PURPOSE:To increase the loading capacity by lowering the thrust facial pressure through widening of the bearing surface of thrust bearing and to enhance the lubricating performance and also prevent wear and damage of the bearing surface by making the bearing surface in a form easy to deform elastically. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral edge of a thrust bearing 10 is provided with a step at its fixed surface 10a side and formed with an overhung part 10c on the bearing surface 10b side over a bearing support 11 and an Oldom joint 12, so that the bearing surface 10b is larger than the fixed surface 10a, and besides above a notch 10a is furnished in a part on the bearing surface 10b side. Thereby, the thrust facial pressure of the thrust bearing 10 given by an oscillative swinging scroll 2 can be lowered and the loading capacity enhanced, and further an overhanging of the peripheral edge of thrust bearing 10 over the Oldom joint 12 will give the bearing surface 10b easiness to deform elastically and generate oil films with grass during operation. Thus the lubricating performance is enhanced. |
