<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the operation space and to miniaturize the whole of a device by providing a link which can be engaged with a tension arm and connecting one end of a band brake to the link. CONSTITUTION:When a tension arm 3 is turned to a tape tension detection start position at the time of detecting the tape tension, the tension arm 3 is engaged with an engaging projection 2a of a link 2 to control the turning position of the link 2, and the position of one end of a band brake 1 is changed in accordance with the extent of turning of the link 2 to adjust the pressing force of the band brake 1. When the tape tension is not detected, the tension arm 3 is turned to a storage position. In this case, the link 2 tries to turn in the same direction but is stopped in this position because the engaging projection 2a is brought into contact with the end part of a link control hole 8, and the band brake 1 is relaxed only in such degree that the pressing force is not applied to reel bases, and thus, the operation space is reduced to miniaturize the whole of the device.</p> |
