<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the difference between carries in short distance clubs by forming a series from long to short distance clubs in such a way that the loft angle of each club becomes gradually larger and the differences between fan numbers of the loft angles gradually reduce and by selecting clubs from said series to form a set. CONSTITUTION:The chart shows the loft angles of iron clubs, fan numbers of carries and the club. The series of the invention is represented by black points. In the graph for the loft angles, lines connecting each graph is so curved that they are projected in the upper direction while in the graph for carries the counterpart is projected in the lower direction. The golf set is constituted by selecting a proper number of graphs from this series. For example, fan numbers such as 3, 4,..., 11 and pitching wedge are selected from them. Then putters are further added to them. According as fan numbers become larger, a degree of the increase in loft angles reduces and the differences in carries between different fan numbers become smaller. Thus when golf clubs are used in short distances in which accurate carries are needed, more proper clubs can be used.</p> |
