PURPOSE:To impart excellent constitution from the aspect of operability or cost, by holding a specimen by a specimen support material having acoustic impedance different from that of said specimen. CONSTITUTION:The under surface l2 of an organism specimen 100 having a certain thickness is lined with the specimen table 110 of this inventive acoustical reflection body. That is, a perfect reflection body is constituted so that a specimen 310 is held between two Mylar films 300, 320 and the side opposite to the Mylar film (contacted with water 70) opposed to a lens is constituted of air 330. The wave propagated through the specimen 100 is reflected by the interface l2 and again propagates through the specimen upwardly and issued into water 130 through an interface l1 to be detected as a reflected sonic wave by a probe system 140. Herein, because the reflection at the interface l2 is almost perfect reflection and this reflected signal is extremely large, the reflected signal of this constitution is determined by the reflected sonic wave from the interface l1 far larger than the interface l2. |
